Recently watched: La Piel Que Habito (The Skin I Live In)
Dios mio. Mon Dieu. Oh my God.
This movie was absolute and undeniable brilliance. There’s no way to give you a full synopsis without giving away the repulsive (and yet incredible!) plot twists that make this movie one of my favorite ones. It was a rush and a horribly amazing roller coaster ride that takes you through the motions of right versus wrong and crime versus punishment. Banderas, in his distraught dishevelment, played his role with apparent passion, as well as Elena Anaya. I had never seen a Pedro Almodovar film, but this will most definitely not be my last.
